Week 3. Cuts, Shopping, and MICE

Cuts

We had to cut back on mice to save time and resources. We did not plan far enough ahead in.o consider every fee. And it turns out that it would've cost a lot more if we did not add some cuts. We decided to to reduce to only three mice. We decided to remove two mice from the experiment because in order to hold the integrity of the expierament we need three mice. 1 control 1 listening to "aggressive" music 1 listening to "calm" music. We are now are just seeing if higher beats per minute has an effect to compared to music at a lower beats per minute.

Shopping

The following is all I bought courtesy PetCo

MICE

We bought our three mice and we are ready to start the expierament. We will wait a couple days just so the mice can get settled In

  1. Nice mice, kinda look like slices of dice, can they get lice? Man, rapping is definitely not in my future. I'm intrigued by your project and what the final results will be. The mice are all adorable and should be named creative and thoughtful things and not just Paul or something. Also, which one is going to be listening to what type of music? How will you distinguish the two white one? And are you going to make the 'aggressive' music one listen to Of Mice and Men... because that would be ironic and I would laugh. Great job so far!

  2. This is honestly my favorite project... I'm so excited to see your results. How can you compare the mice brain to our brain... so just because the mice react to certain music, is it the same way we react? I know personally my horse calms down if I play AC/DC... which is weird.

  3. If you're not getting results fast enough, you can crank the aggressive music mouse up to some thick dubstep.

  4. It's a bummer you had to make cuts. I was hoping there would be more mice in order to have a larger variety of music. Are you going to be taking suggestions for music? I ask this because if one of the mice is listening to rap, I want it to listen to the good stuff, and I can help you out.

  6. I like your mice. I like the adaptablility and the creativness with the problems that apeared. Good job. I am hoping for a fighting mouse that is buff. Just kidding I'm just interested in the project and how it all plays out.
